For those of you not (increasingly sensibly) using an adblocker.
We may have to put up with advertising in order to gain free content, that doesn't seem entirely unreasonable, but should we be interuppted mid-sentence? Surely there's a better way to both provide free content and make a profit for an organisation as large as Google.

Magazines can be very useful when they provide news, introduce you to new things and offer trustworthy reviews. Yet when they focus on a narrow remit, such as photography, there's only so much that can be written on each possible topic.

HowTos can be immensely useful things when written well and exclude unnecessary content. Far too often they contain an enormous amount of irrelevant material which can make them more difficult to use effectively.
